Go to www.lakecasitas.info  where you will see many shots of the park and of each campground.  By clicking on the map of each campsite, you can see photos of individual sites.  There are lots of shady sites, but not all have hook-ups, much like Lake Skinner.  Prices vary depending on the type of site you choose. There are also two group camping areas. One of the group sites, Owl Court, is close to showers and has four hookups, but can accommodate up to 11 motor homes. (There are minimum requirements to reserve the group sites.)

On the map of the park at their website, you will see the Special Events Area, where Fest 2008 will be held lake-side.

A shuttle bus will circulate through the campgrounds on Saturday, and will also pick up and deliver at two designated hotels. Click here to view the shuttle stop map and complete schedule.

Boat Owners - Note Restrictions

Boat access has been temporarily restricted due to potential threats of invasive species contamination. The Board of Directors of the Casitas Municipal Water District adopted a resolution on March 4, 2008 restricting boats not currently stored or moored at the Recreation Area from entering the park for 1 year, or until such time as more adequate procedures to protect the lake from invasive species can be put into place.

Hotel Information - 2009

The following hotels are close to Lake Casitas. The Ojai Country Inn and various hotels in Ventura are too far away to be recommended, but prices and availability may be better. Fest is the same weekend as the "Storytellers Weekend" in Ojai and well into the peak season for tourism. The prices listed below are 2009 prices. Except for the Oakridge Inn, prices for the fest weekend may be higher. Make your reservation as early as possible.
