Membership in the CHA carries certain responsibilities. The CHA intends to provide a fun, educational and safe atmosphere for its members during its sponsored events. This responsibility also falls upon each individual member. Since alcoholic beverages are a main ingredient at CHA events, consumption in a responsible manner is mandatory for all members who choose to consume alcoholic beverages at CHA events.

Hold Harmless Release

"With full knowledge, comprehension and understanding I voluntarily accept and assume all risks involved in the participation in this event. In consideration of our acceptance of my participation, I hold harmless and release and forever discharge the Lake Casitas Recreation Area, the California Homebrewers Association and anyone connected with this informal activity, from all liabilities for injuries and damages whatsoever."
