Serve & Drink Responsibly
| RESPONSIBLE BEVERAGE SERVICE (RBS) –TRAINING AND CERTIFICATION FOR CLUBS POURING AT SCHF | ||
| As of July 1, 2022, California AB-1221 requires alcohol servers and managers to be Responsible Beverage Service (RBS) certified by the California Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control (ABC). To ensure the highest standards of responsibility at our event, the CHA Board requires at least one member from each club serving beverages at SCHF to be RBS Certified. How it works: • Role: Your club’s RBS Certified member does not need to oversee the booth for the entire event. However, they are expected to serve as a resource for other club members regarding responsible service practices. • Reimbursement: Because we value safe service, the CHA will reimburse one member per club (up to $15) for the cost of obtaining or renewing their certification. Please visit our SCHF RBS Training & Certification page for full details on how to get certified and claim your reimbursement | ||
