Here are the rules for the Fall 2022 Best of Show Competition:

1) There will be three styles of beer accepted for entry. These styles will be judged according to the BJCP 2021 style guidelines:

❏ 3D. Czech Dark Lager
❏ 20C. Imperial Stout
❏ 21A. American IPA

3) Entry Rules
a) Every club can have up to two entries. Multiple entries must be in separate categories.
b) Every entry must be in: two individual 12 ounce bottles OR two individual 12 ounce cans. Alternative package formats will not be accepted.
c) Each entry must go through our CHA Bottle Entry Form to be considered a valid entry into this competition. You will receive an email confirming your entry.
d) Each bottle/can cannot have conspicuous labeling/marking. An entry label with competitor name, club, and beer style must be attached to each bottle/can with a rubber band.
d) All entrants must be dues-paying 2022 CHA Members. There are no entry fees beyond membership.
e) All entry drop offs start October 12th, and must be received at the drop off location by Saturday October 22, 2022.

4) Entry Judging
a) Entry categories will be divided into no more than three pre-round tables. These tables will each award a 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place entries. These three placing entries will move to a Best of Show Table.
b) The Best of Show Table will award 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place entries.
c) Points accrued on all tables will be valid for CHA Club of The Year points.
