The first post…

This is the first post after the home brew festival…

Thank you everyone for helping us make this one of the best SCHF’s ever. In particular, we want to thank:

– Our awesome CHA board of directors (Christy, MJ, Bruce, Marianne, Doug, Albert, Doug, and Spencer) who put countless hours of work into this
– Our clubs and club reps who dealt with our changing serving conditions without complaint (of course for all of the great beer that they provided)
– Steve Munoz who put on an incredible alcohol training session
– Julian Shrago and John Palmer (were they not fantastic?)
– Brian Nestande and everyone else who helped us pass AB2609 that made this event possible again
– Vail Lake and their staff (in particular Jeff, Megan, and Gary)
– Security
– Our wonderful food vendors
– The Maltose Falcons and The Bricktop Blaggers
– All of the amazing volunteers who took time away from beer drinking to help make this event happen
– The local vendors who provided the infrastructure (fencing, porta potties, generators, lighting, booths, ice, sound, and every thing else that we can’t do without)
– Beechwood Brewing, Firestone Walker, and Stone Brewing who provided the beer for our craft brew pour
– Code3 RV and 19th hole golf carts for helping to make our lives a little more comfortable
– Refuge Brewing and The Devilicious Food Truck

And lastly, every CHA member who showed up, sampled good beer, and help to make this year’s festival great.

We plan on sending out a post-fest survey in the next couple of weeks to get some more direct feedback. Please keep your eye out for it and let us know what you think.

Thanks again and see you next year!
